Greetings :)
I'm Vladimir (just Vlad, if it's easier), a 24-year-old software engineer and freelance writer. I'm currently studying Japanese in a Japanese Language School, in Tokyo.
I've always enjoyed teaching, although I've had few opportunities to do so (mostly chess lessons, and occasional French lessons to foreign students). This year in Japan is a good opportunity for me to dedicate more time to this activity.
French is my native language, and I believe my experience in writing makes up for the fact that I do not hold a proper linguistics degree.
The English test I took is the IELTS, in which I scored an 8/9. So, even though I don't have a native level, I have sufficient mastery of the language to be of good help to most students, including university students.
I'm writing this introduction in English, as my current Japanese ability is quite low. I will be taking the JLPT N3 in July, so the upcoming 3 months will be intense in terms of studies. However, I should get comfortable having normal conversations and explaining things in Japanese during this period.
I can teach classes in the Tokyo area, but it's mostly a trade-off between the location and the time and duration of the class (I need to be back in time for my own classes, and spare some time for my own homework ;) ).
So, no matter in which yard you live or in which university you study, you can contact me and we'll try to make it work !
The trial lesson is free, and mostly serves the purpose of understanding whether I would be useful to you in your quest of becoming a better French/English speaker.
Please contact me, preferably by email :)
Have a nice day !
