Hi :) I am currently a senior student in a university in Tokyo, majoring in political science and economics. When I don’t have class, I like reading, running, cooking Asian cuisine and traveling to different parts of the world.
I am originally from Taiwan, immigrated to New Zealand with my family when I was 14, and came to Japan 5 years ago for university. Because of my multicultural background, I am fluent in both Chinese and English. I can also speak good Japanese, so please don’t worry about communication problem (However, the class will be conducted mainly in English or Chinese to help students improve their listening skills). Moreover, I am happy to change my teaching material and method according to your need (traveling, business, exam-preparation etc.).
For me, teaching English/Chinese is more than just teaching a language. Many students actually become my friends with whom I enjoy having conversation with. Apart from adults, I also enjoy teaching kids immensely. Using cards and games, young children can pick up a foreign language even faster than adults!
