I first learned English as a kindergarten kid at New Life Yochien in Higashi Hakuraku, Kanagawa-ku, Yokohama-shi from a native American for 5 years. As a college student, I won an English essay contest at Hitotsubashi University. I became an international businessman for over 30 years after getting an MBA at Stanford. I am currently an independent business and communications consultant, English instructor and English essayist focused on quality films. As Japan goes another step to an open and cultured society, I want to give my contribution in top-notch English skills in writing, listening, reading and speaking regardless of the student's expertise. I have become a near-native speaker and writer of English after 12 years of study and business in the United States, in New York and California.
