Hello, I’m Mark. Originally from London, I now enjoy life in Motomachi, Kobe. For the past 12 years I’ve been teaching English in Japan, working with a wide range of people and organisations—from Osaka Government and Kitano High School to IELTS preparation courses for students heading to the UK and elsewhere. I’ve also taught at major Japanese companies such as Sekisui House, Denso Ten, and Fuji Denki, as well as leading business classes, over 50s groups, and private lessons.
My goal is simple: to help you speak English with confidence while having fun. Whether you want to improve your conversation skills or boost your TOEIC, IELTS, or EIKEN score, I can guide you every step of the way. I speak with a clear, easy-to-understand British accent, and I’m known for being patient, friendly, and encouraging. I truly enjoy helping people reach their goals, and making new friends along the way.
