How did I end up in Japan?
My name is Runnel but my friends call me Nel. I was born and raised in the Philippines and moved to Singapore in my twenties. In Singapore, I met my wonderful Japanese wife and moved to Japan. We now have one son.
What do I do?
I have a degree in Architecture and worked in the industry for 10 plus years. In 2020, I took a break from architecture to pursue my own business and teaching. Currently I am a English educator and a life coach focusing on helping famlies. I realized after living in the Philippines, Singapore and now in Japan for 4 years, I like connecting with people. I believe most people have a similar desire. As a Filipino who learned English as second language, I can relate to the joys and struggles of acquiring a new language.
