ルーマニア人で、2019年9月に日本に来ました。日本の文化に魅了され、日本語を勉強しました。 日本で2年程英語を教えていますが、過去に私の生徒が海外の一流大学で大学院の学位を取得するために必要な英語の目標を達成しました。日本語を話す人が英語を学ぶ上で最も頻繁に起こる問題に非常に理解しているので、英語を学ぶすべての年齢の日本人と外国人を喜んでお手伝いします。 他の言語と英語の違いを日本語で説明する方法を熟知しています。
日本に移る前は、西アフリカのエボラ危機、リビアの難民危機、ハイチのハリケーンマシュー対応など、世界中の人道援助で約9年間働いていました。もし生徒さんの中にこのような人道支援など海外でグローバルに活躍した人がいればその人達の手助けをしたいです！アフガニスタンなどの中東にも住んでいましたが、私の好きな国は日本です！ 英語を教えるのが大好きで、皆さんの英語の目標を一緒に達成できることを心から願っています。 文法と語学に重点を置いていますが、レッスン中も楽しんでいただけるようにしたいと思います。 学生たちに会うのを楽しみにしています！

Hello! I’m Laura. I’m from Romania and I came to Japan in September 2019. I am fascinated with the local culture and I studied Japanese in Tokyo. I have been teaching in Japan for about two years, and my students have accomplished their English goals, including one student being admitted in a prestigious university for a post-graduate degree overseas. I will be happy to help all ages of Japanese and foreigners learning English, as I’ve become highly familiar with the most frequent problems that Japanese speakers have learning English. I know how to explain the difference between your language and English in Japanese, so that you avoid making common mistakes.
Before moving to Japan, I worked for about nine years in emergencies around the world, such as the Ebola crisis in West Africa, the refugee crisis in Libya, and the Hurricane Matthew response in Haiti. I also lived in other countries like Afghanistan and in the Middle East, but my favorite country is Japan! I love teaching English and hope we can achieve your English goals together. While I focus on grammar and vocabulary, I want to make sure that you are also having fun during the lesson! I look forward to meeting you!
