私の名前はLucで、母国カナダ以外で英語を教え始めてから10年近くになります。日本に来る前は、台湾、オーストラリア、韓国で生活し、教えていました。応用言語学とTESOLの修士号を取得し、言語教師として常に向上心を持ち続けています。
様々な教育機関で教えており、アカデミックなリーディングとライティングのスキルを専門としていますが、日常英語、旅行英語、ビジネス英語など、英語全般を教えた経験も持っています。私が作成した、または学習目標に最も適した教材を使い、あなただけのための個別レッスンを提供します。
私は子供の頃（フランス語）と大人になってから（中国語）上級レベルの言語を学んだ経験があるので、人生の様々なステージで言語を学ぶ人が直面する多くの困難を理解することができます。私とのレッスンは、達成感を味わってもらいたいので、やりがいのあるものになるでしょう。しかし、言語習得に苦痛は必要ないと思いますので、その代わりに楽しみます。
生徒さんによってレッスンプランの内容は異なりますが、各レッスン終了後に、文法事項、新しい語彙、次のレッスンで取り上げる内容、宿題（該当する場合）を含むレッスンサマリーをお送りします。

Allow me to introduce myself: my name is Luc and I have been teaching the English language outside of my native Canada for nearly ten years now. I lived and taught in Taiwan, Australia, and South Korea before coming to Japan. I have achieved a Master of Applied Linguistics and TESOL, and am always seeking to improve as a language teacher.
I have taught at a variety of different institutions, and specialize in teaching academic reading and writing skills, but also have experience teaching all aspects of English, including everyday English, English for travel, business English, etc. I provide individualized lessons just for you, using materials that I create or find most appropriate for your learning goals.
I have experience learning languages to an advanced level as a child (French), and as an adult (Mandarin Chinese), so I am able to understand many of the difficulties that learners face in learning English. Lessons with me will be challenging, because I want you to feel a sense of achievement. However, I don't think pain is necessary for language learning, so we'll have fun instead.
The contents of every student's lesson plans will vary, but after each lesson, I will send you a lesson summary, including grammar points, new vocabulary, what we will cover in the next lesson and homework, if applicable.
