Hi Students!
初めまして！
My name is Minhkhang Truong (ミンカンチュロん)! I was born in Vietnam and came over to the United States when I was only six years old. Even then, I remember having to learn English and Vietnamese. Because of this, I understand how hard it is to learn a new language and balance between languages. Right now, I can speak English, Vietnamese, Thai, and Japanese. I am in Tokyo, because I want to learn Japanese and teach english to Japanese speakers! English is my first language.
Right now, I am a Third year, attending Waseda University! In my free time I enjoy exploring the city, and practicing as much Japanese as I can.
I have a lot of experience with teaching English. I have tutored american students for 2 years. I worked with students from 8 to 18 years old. With these students I correct their english grammar , help improve their reading and provide feedback on their essay writing. I have also taught vietnamese adults english back in America. I have worked with translation , interpreting and pronunciation. These experiences and skills I will bring to our english lessons !
My english lessons are very flexible to whatever you need. The first lesson will be to figure out what is your english level and what you want to work on. From there, I can make lesson plans for you to reach your english speaking goals! The pace, difficulty, and level is whenever you want!
I can do worksheets, free conversation, role play, tutor, pronunciation,or english games. I am a very strong communicator, and listener. Communication is number one. I can also understand Japanese. So if there is an english word or phrase you wish to learn to express, do not hesitate and tell me in Japanese!
If you are also interested in learning about American Culture, that can also be a part of my lessons. We can discuss, learn and explore American music, culture, traditions, customs or any thing you are curious about. This is very helpful you want to study abroad in America!
