I'm originally from Chicago and have been living in Japan for a few years. I enjoy teaching English and helping others meet their goals. I have four years experience teaching in Japan and understand some of the struggles communicating in the English language. I rather create my own materials than use some of the language learning books. Sometimes I think they are a little boring and aren't very personal.
I think listening to our lessons during your free time is important so if you don't mind I can record our lessons with video or audio. I know a lot of people are shy but, if you don't mind it really helps! Recently, four of my students from different universities have been accepted for study abroad programs in the US. We did an interview where they introduced themselves and sent it to the study abroad program. It was great to see them succeed and I hope to help you as well!
