To my prospective students:
Hi my name is Kasper and I am from Singapore. I've just graduated from the National University of Singapore majoring in physics but minoring in Japanese Studies as well. I'm currently studying in a Japanese language school in Sapporo and will be stationed there till at least March 2015.
Teaching in Japan will be a first for me but I do have experience as a private tutor since my high school days (when I was 17?) back in my home country of Singapore, teaching high school or junior high school students various subjects including English, Math and Science. I hope to be able to do the same thing here in Japan and help improve your command of the English language,which in my opinion, is one of the most important languages in the world.
Lessons are basically structured around conversational practices as we try to build up your confidence speaking in English. Of course, I am open to negotiation and if there is a specific direction that you the lesson to go in, feel free to ask. I will be free only on weekend mornings and early afternoons for lessons as I have my own lessons to attend on weekday mornings and part time job commitments in the evenings. Locations can be anywhere such as a cafe or even the students home (as long as it is within sapporo or nearby) where we have a place to sit and conduct our lessons.
