Hello! My name is Keith and I am originally from the USA. I attended NYU and majored in East Asian Studies and minored in Linguistics. I speak Mandarin Chinese, some Japanese, and I speak English in a neutral American accent. My family and I lived in Shenzhen China for 5 years, and in 2015 we moved here to Japan, where my wife is originally from. We have 2 wonderful children, one currently attending Hosei University, and the other is a senior in a Tokyo private high school. Many years ago, I taught English professionally when I used to live in Taiwan. Since moving to Japan, I started teaching English once again. I found that the English my kids were learning in小学校and 中学校was too easy for them. Recently, I have been teaching conversational English online because it is very convenient, comfortable, and safe. I am a very patient, and easy-going teacher. Learning conversational English does NOT have to be difficult, scary or embarrassing!
