私の名前はロバート。カナダ出身で広島在住、英会話スクールや大学で英語を教えている経験豊富な教師です。
日本に住んで5年以上になりますが、会話を中心とした授業を通して、日本の英語学習者とそのニーズについて多くを学んできました。私は、文法がしっかりしていることも大切ですが、自分の考えを説明できることが何よりも大切だと考えています。ですので、生徒さんには、たとえ完璧ではなくても、自分の言いたいことを伝えるためにどんな英語でも心地よく使ってほしいと思っています。一緒に楽しく英語を話しましょう！
私のレッスンスタイルは、日常会話の中で様々な文法を使って練習することに重点を置き、生徒さんにはたくさん話してもらいます。初心者から上級者まで教えた経験がありますので、どのレベルの生徒さんにも対応できます。
私は写真が好きで、ウェディングフォトグラファーとして活動しています。また、YouTubeでは、英語学習に役立つ日常生活の動画を作っています。
コロナだから、現在はオンラインレッスンのみを行っています。
Hi! My name is Robert, and I’m an experienced English teacher from Canada living in Hiroshima. I’m currently teaching at a university as well as teaching conversation lessons from home.
I’ve been living in Japan for 5 years, and have learned much about Japanese English learners and their needs through conversation-focused teaching. I truly believe that while good grammar is important, if you can explain your ideas, that’s most important! So I always want students to feel comfortable using any English to say what they want to, even if it is not perfect! Let’s have fun speaking English together!
My lesson style focuses on using/practicing different grammar in daily conversations, and I let students do a lot of speaking. I’m experienced with teaching beginner to advanced level students, so I can help students of all levels!
I love photography, and work as a wedding photographer! We also are on YouTube, making daily life videos that can help you learn English!
