Hello! I love laughing and talking to my students. I am here to teach, listen, and correct! I know a little Japanese and I am okay with translation during class.
My classes are conversational. We spend 10 minutes catching up, and then about 40 minutes doing topic-driven conversation. We spend the last 10 with any questions you may have and doing some basic vocabulary building. I like to work with studying prefixes and suffixes and talking about idioms. If you bring an English-language book to class to use, I offer a 500 yen discount!

With children my specialty is phonics, reading, writing, and pronunciation. I can teach your child to read and we will work on pronunciation. It's important to learn basics to reinforce things learned in school and increase confidence!! With younger children we will play with toys and play games that reinforce simple dialogue.
