こんにちは。私のプロフィールをご覧いただきありがとうございます。私はイギリス英語を母語とする英語教師で、日本に9年間住んでいます。英語教師歴は10年です。生徒の年齢層は幼稚園児から高齢者まで幅広く、日常会話、旅行英語、ビジネス英語、TOEICやIELTSなどの試験対策英語など、様々な場面での英語指導経験があります。
これまで9年間同じ英会話学校で教えてきましたが、この度、専門分野に特化したレッスンを開講することになりました。
レッスンは通常プライベートレッスンですが、グループレッスンも可能です。生徒一人ひとりのニーズに合わせて、多様で興味深く、理解しやすい教材を幅広く活用しています。
まずは体験レッスンから始めます。体験レッスンでは、生徒さんの英語レベル、得意分野、改善点、そして英語を学ぶ動機などを把握します。そして何よりも、私があなたにとって最適な講師かどうかを判断していただく機会となります。

Hello, and thank you for looking at my profile. I am a native British English teacher, and have lived in Japan for 9 years. I have been teaching English for 10 years. My students ages have ranged from Kindergarten to retired senior citizens. I have taught English for many situations, including general conversation, English for travel, Business English, and English for exams such as TOEIC and IELTS.
I have been working for the same English Conversation school for 9 years, but now I am branching out to teach my own specialised lessons.
My lessons are usually private, but group lessons are available. I use a range of resources to provide varied, interesting and easy to undersand lesson materials tailored for your specific needs.
We begin with a trial lesson. This helps me learn about your English level, strengths, areas to improve, and your reasons to learn English. Importantly, this is also your chance to decide if I am the best tutor for you.
Maybe you are asking `Why are Helblindi`s lessons more expensive than other teachers?`. It`s a good question. Here is the answer. Many conversation teachers are not qualified. I am qualified and have 10 years of experience. Over the last 9 years my students in Japan have repeatedly asked my employer for me to return as their teacher the following year. Every year. They say my teaching style is relaxed, friendly, easy to understand, and I always answer their questions. Furthermore, my lessons for you will be tailor made to your requests and needs. We do lessons at your pace. So it doesn`t matter if you are a beginner or advanced, studying for exams, improving your chance of promotion, planning a foreign holiday, or just learning for a hobby. I work with you to decide the best strategy, methods, and materials to help you master English.
If you decide to have me as your teacher (and I hope you do!), we then proceed with weekly or monthly lessons at convenient times that you decide.
My online lessons are currently available early mornings and evenings. Face to face lessons can be planned based on our mutual availablity.
The lessons are all in English, but I do speak some Japanese, so may be able to help you out at times with a few key words to give you a hint.
