Hello. My name is Grant and I moved to Japan three years ago after graduating college. I am half Japanese and I have been teaching English since moving to Japan (almost 4 years now). I have experience teaching young children, college students, housewives and even senior citizens! (using both Japanese and English.)
I have worked several part time jobs in Japan during these 4 years living abroad. I worked at a bread shop, working as a swim instructor teaching young children how to swim and in a camera store in Harajuku!
I live in the west side of Chiba prefecture but often go to Tokyo to take pictures and meet friends. I love meeting new people from different backgrounds and helping others speak English better while sharing American culture and fun facts too!
I also love to exercise (go running, lift weights, and swim). I am not only looking for students but also want to make new friends while living here in Japan. I am always open to try new things and recently have started to practice cooking. I like to learn Japanese recipes and take pictures of them to share on social media.
Please take a look at my website, blog, or instagram to get an idea of how I like to spend my time!
I can speak almost business level Japanese so I am happy to help those who don't have very high English skills, as well as anyone who needs a tutor, a friend to talk to, or just have go out a have fun with.
I offer a free trial because I want our lessons to be fun! Please send me an e-mail, and I look forward to meeting you soon!
