Hello :)
My name is Aljoscha, but please call me Yoshi.
I have been born in Germany, however I've spent the last two years studying architecture in France.
I am fluent in German, English and French.
During an earlier visit to Japan I volunteered for so-called workcamps during which I worked with but also taught children. I was particularly impressed by the teaching concept for English classes I witnessed in an elementary school in rural Niigata: The teacher would only speak to the children in English, even going as far as to pretend that she did not know Japanese.
When I came to France in 2011, I attended a French language school. There, I experienced the effectiveness of this approach myself. Not having any prior knowledge of the French language, I learned it so quickly that I managed to pass the TCF at the C1 level after having stayed only a few months in France.
Now that I am Japan, I would like to share these positive experiences I made by helping other people acquire English, French and/or German language skills. While I think that the "one student, one teacher" concept lends itself ideally to create an environment of progress and of sharing knowledge, I do not mind teaching bigger groups of people.
Looking forward to meeting you,
Yoshi
