Hello and a very warm welcome to my professional profile. Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a native British person who was born and brought up in Liverpool, where the Beatles come from.
In my teens I went to live and work in London. After that I went to live in Manchester.
In 1995 I went to live and work as an English teacher in Spain, teaching English to Spanish students. Then in 2015 I came to Japan with my lovely Japanese wife.
I am a very patient teacher who likes to help the student to speak better English. I do this by asking the student questions about topics they know something about. I also ask students to prepare a presentation in advance of the class. The presentation lasts no more than a few minutes. I like to listen and correct the student and show them ways that they can improve.
