My teaching method is first to encourage skills that are easily obtainable and as we build confidence in your skills we move towards a range of just out of reach but obtainable. For kids, this would be starting with simple questions with repeat after me answers then moving towards self answering and adding more. For adults this would be looking at what skills you have by simple interview like questions and stepping back or forward after assessing the skills you have. My materials vary from flash card, books, to a computer, smartphone and of course games. Gotta keep it fun and interesting!
