Nice to meet you! I came to Japan because I want to be an English teacher. I love teaching English, and have ten years of experience in Japan and America. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language, and several publications for my work here in Japan. Please don't be shy! Let's enjoy a relaxed lesson. And please don't be afraid to make mistakes! Mistakes are how you learn and progress.
As for lessons I prefer to start with a level check, and study from a textbook one step below your actual level. This is to give you time to adjust to my lesson. I always encourage my students to be aware of their grammar mistakes, but not to focus only on grammar. Everyone has different levels of language ability, and that's ok. Think about
people like Yamashita Tomohisa. He is very good with English grammar and communication. I am very impressed by him. At the same time think about Degawa! He isn't very good at grammar, but time He communicates very well. As a native speaker of English, I really like Degawa! I want to speak with him, and I want to speak with you too. I look forward to hearing from you.
