I am a 30-year-old American-German from the surroundings of Berlin. I graduated in civil engineering but have been working in education ever since. I am going to stay in Japan for a year, learning the language and getting to know the culture, while I am here.
With plenty of experience working at various levels, such as elementary school, university and with business professionals, as well as in activities outside of the traditional classroom, I have a diverse background with much to offer.
It's worth mentioning that I am a German-born half American, as my mother is from New Jersey, and that I have an additional Maltese residency. Reason being that I studied my entire school time at an international school in Pembroke, Malta. Thus I am a native fluent English speaker with an American accent. Given my American-German background and my experience of working for the last three years in Malta and Australia with people of a wide variety of nationalities makes me an ideal language teacher.
As I have taught English to business professionals as a part-time job online during my time in Malta and Australia, I've fully internalized a highly professional and dynamic work ethic.
Through this travel time and also during my engineering studies I developed a deep understanding of cultural differences and gained a high level of organizational and communication skills.
I am planning on staying for the whole duration of my one-year-visa here in Tokyo and would love to work with you.
Thank you for your time and for considering me as your English teacher.
If you have any questions or wish to know more about my qualifications, please do not hesitate to contact me.
I look forward to hearing from you.
