私はアメリカ・オハイオ州出身のネイティブ英語話者です。2019年から日本に住んでおり、現在は三重県に在住しています。
私のレッスンでは、自然な会話を通して英語を学ぶことを大切にしています。言語を身につけるためには、実際に話し、聞く機会をたくさん持つことがとても重要だと考えています。
私自身も、現在の夫との日常会話を通してスペイン語を学んできました。その経験から、新しい言語を学ぶ楽しさだけでなく、難しさや不安もよく理解しています。間違いを恐れずに話すことが、上達への大切な一歩です。
レッスンでは、生徒様一人ひとりのレベルや目標、興味に合わせて、リラックスして英語を練習できる環境づくりを心がけています。英語に自信がない方や初心者の方も安心してご参加ください。
私は理学系の学士号を取得しており、日本では英語講師としての経験のほか、翻訳やナレーションの仕事にも携わっています。
現在はオンラインレッスンのみを行っています。また、私は幼い子どもと新生児の母親でもあるため、まれに生活音や子どもの声が入る場合があります。できる限りレッスンに支障がないよう努めておりますので、ご理解いただけますと幸いです。

Hello and welcome!
My name is Lauren. I am a native English speaker from Ohio, USA. I have lived in Japan since 2019 and currently live in Mie Prefecture.
My teaching style focuses on natural conversation. I believe that speaking also nd listening regularly is one of the best ways to improve language skills and build confidence.
I learned much of my own Spanish through daily conversations with my husband. Because of this experience, I understand both the challenges and rewards of learning a new language. I know that making mistakes is a normal and important part of the learning process.
My goal is to create a friendly and comfortable environment where students can practice English without worrying about being perfect. Lessons can be adjusted to match your level, interests, and personal goals.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Science and experience working as an English teacher, translator, and voice talent in Japan.
I currently teach online from my home office. I am also the mother of a toddler and a newborn daughter, so occasional background noise may sometimes occur. I do my best to keep lessons professional and minimize interruptions. Thank you for your understanding.
