Louis先生 福岡市でフランス語、英会話を教えられる

Hello. My name is Louis-Marc (ルイマーク), but you can call me Louis (ルイ). As you may have guessed, it is indeed a French name, but I am actually from Canada! Did you know that the province of Québec is majorly a French-spoken territory? I grew up learning both English and French at the same time. Being someone who is eager to learn new languages, I studied Spanish for two years and started learning Japanese in my free time during the summer of 2017. My hometown, Montréal, is the biggest city of Québec, and it is ranked as one of the three major cities in Canada, along with Toronto and Vancouver. In Montréal, I studied at a school called Cégep, which is mandatory after high school in the Québec education system. It offers classes both from the senior year of high school as well as introductory university classes. I graduated in Social Science and International Studies with classes such as Philosophy, History and Political Science, where I had the chance to do a research project on Japanese propaganda during World War II. What interests me the most about Japanese culture is the old culture and traditions: history and literature, performing arts, philosophies and spiritualities, the art of kimono; these are just a few of my interests in Japanese culture. As I have a thirst for knowledge and learning, I use my free time to read books about philosophy and fictional thrillers. What brought me to Japan is this interest in the culture. Why Fukuoka specifically? I think the size of the city is very convenient, as it is a big city with lots of opportunities, but it is not too big either. The presence of beaches and the rich culinary experiences have also tilted the balance in favour of this city. My favourite Japanese dishes are sashimi, tonkotsu ramen and takoyaki.
