As an Attorney at Law with a Magister Scientiarum in Private International and Comparative Law, my communicational skills, in both Spanish and English, combined with my multicultural background as a Spanish/Japanese Descendant, who was born and raised in Venezuela, have given me a diverse and unique vantage point.
I worked as a Legal Counsel of Kraft Foods in Venezuela, advising in legal matters to Andean, Central America & Caribbean subsidiaries of Kraft Foods, key Player in true divestiture process, general business and legal advisor.
I have been a legal consultant at Quorum Asuntos Públicos, a business consultant and law firm, directed and owned by Dr. Gustavo Tarre Briceño, my job there was to prepare legal opinions and serve as co-editor of the biweekly legal bulletin.
I also gained business skills working for many years with Seijiro Yazawa Iwai, which is a Venezuelan company, founded 90 years a go by the first Japanese immigrant to Venezuela, importer of medical equipment, power generation, heavy machinery and recently aircrafts, as a Legal Director, I advised for all branches of the company located in Venezuela, Panama, Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Trinidad & Tobago.
I have been a Director of Legal Affairs and Deputy Vice-president in Federation of Japanese & Nikkei in Venezuela, which is a Non-Profit Civil association integrated by Venezuelan-Japanese community nationwide, experience that served to enrich me deeply as a descendant of Japanese.
My professional background is the result of the great opportunities I have had during my service in small and medium organizations, as well as multinational corporations and non-profitable organizations. I have had the opportunity to work hand in hand with counterparts in other countries which enhanced my understanding of Law as well as Cultural differences.
I am very proud of my roots. I am a wife in love. I also love a pink world, a full moon, the smile of a child, the breeze on my face, the sound of the rain falling, birds singing, Zumba, a blue sky, the smell of freshly brewed coffee, blow out birthday candles, and the sound of the waves of the sea, among other thousands things.
My dream and biggest wish in my life is to become a mom.
And last but not least, I have the honor and privilege of being currently the Ambassador of UrijiJami in Japan.
