Hi everyone, thanks for checking my profile! My name's Laura and I have lived in Tokyo several times before (e.g. for when I was an exchange student at Sophia University).
I have been speaking English for more than 20 years by now, so the language has become second nature to me (according to native speakers I got some sort of an Irish accent...so no strong German accent going on here, don't you worry!).
As for my teaching style – let's talk about your hobbies and the things you are interested in! :) I'd love to learn about those.
Besides that, I will usually give you some kind of text according to your level and interests that we will discuss together in the upcoming lesson. That means you'd be required to do some self-preparation at home (reading the text)! *_* We'll be looking at new vocabulary and grammar and answer some questions related to the text. Sometimes there might also be an audio file that we will be listening to.
Or, if you'd wish to focus only on grammar or (daily) conversation, that would be totally fine as well.
