I am a Japanese language student and an English instructor from Washington D.C. In addition to studying at The Yamasa Institute, I am currently teaching night classes in Nagoya, and have previous experience as a private tutor and volunteer classroom assistant. My past positions have also required me to operate in English at a business level, as well as work with individuals with limited English ability. As a former US State Department employee with extensive intercultural workplace experience, I have provided services to individuals of various cultures and backgrounds, including members of the diplomatic community and first-generation immigrants. As a long-term resident of Japan, I am now committed to a career in English education and providing outstanding service as a instructor.
