Hi! I'm Paulo, currently a second-year student at the School of Political Science and Economics at Waseda University. I'm half-FIlipino and half-Japanese so you can talk to me in English, Japanese, and Tagalog.
I have spent most of my life studying in the Philippines, a country where the medium of instruction in schools is English. Then, two months ago, I transferred to Waseda to continue my undergraduate education.
By teaching English to Japanese, I hope to be able to expand my network in Japan and help them improve their English speaking skills. As for my credentials, I have scored an overall band of 7.5 (Reading 9.0; Listening: 8.0; Speaking: 7.0; Writing: 6.5) in IELTS last year. An overall band of 7.5 in IELTS is equivalent to a score of 102-109 in TOEFL.
With my skills, I would be able to help you to improve your english speaking skills and proofread your paper if you need help in revising your essay. I could also let you borrow some of my books if you are interested in reading business-oriented or self-help books.
