Hey thanks for checking out my profile!
I’m Martin, a Norwegian student who recently moved to Tokyo to attend 上智大学 as an exchange student.
I’ve been lucky enough to spend a significant part of my childhood living in different countries and as such I’ve been speaking English since I was a small child.
Since then I’ve worked in the US, specifically Hawaii, and worked for years as a translator, translating books from English into Norwegian. I’ve also worked as a private English tutor in Norway as well tutoring for the TOEFL exam.
If TOEFL tutoring is of interest to you please let me know and I’ll work out a study plan that will let you achieve you goals.
I believe my experience in achieving fluency in a second-language, as well my experiences working specifically with the English language in a professional context can offer a unique perspective on how to learn English in an intuitive yet structured and organized way.
My schedule is very flexible, particularly on stations along the Chuo line and if you are able to come to Yotsuya we can use 上智大学 facilities as our study space. If not, a cafe, park or even your home are all possible alternatives.
If this of interest to you, feel free to contact me at any time and we will work out a plan that suits your goals and schedule.
Thank you so much for your time!
Sincerely,
Martin
