今日は、英語とフランス語の先生です！ちょっと日本語を話します !
I'm Ben! If you are interested in learning English OR French, I'm more than capable to do so, and would love to help you practice! Here is a bit about me and why I would be a good teacher for you :
ENGLISH :
- I got my first English lessons in compulsory school, but this only gave me the basic rules of grammar; I learned the language properly with a very good British friend of mine, from whom I acquired a solid base.
- I have lived in Iceland for over 2 years, where I had to speak and listen to English EVERY DAY. This has incredibly sharpened my skills and especially my accent: people usually don't think I am French when I speak English. So you can trust me to help you with your own accent ;)
- I currently have another job: translator. My duty is to translate articles from English to French; this requires an accurate understanding of the English language.
FRENCH :
- I have studied literature for 4 years back in France, and spent most of my childhood reading books. I always had had very good grades in both grammar and free speech.
Thus, I'm confident I can offer you, whatever language you want to learn/perfect:
- the most important things you will need to be able to have a basic/daily conversation, like popular expressions and idioms
- guidance to a better pronunciation (including accent) AND understanding
- a fun opportunity to have English/French conversations! No stress, I'm super easy-going and very patient with people who want to learn!
We will talk together, about our daily lives and our hobbies, and I'll explain to you in an easy way how to use a proper grammar. But mostly, we will talk, because in my experience, it is DEFINITELY the best way to learn a language! Since I've traveled and met so many people from so many countries, I will also give you insights about different cultures and how and why they can be so different from Japanese culture. And if you want to travel, I could give you some tips about where to go... But you will have to be a good student ;)
If you only have very basic knowledge of English/French, no worries! I can speak a bit of Japanese to unlock most of the difficult situations we may encounter together! And I'm absolutely certain that after we get to know each other and with my help, your skills and confidence will drastically improve! So hop on, let's speak English! Parlons français ! 話しましょう！！
