Hello! My name is Ryu. I am 20 years old and I am currently attending the University of British Columbia. I was born in Japan, but I was raised in New York until I was 8. I came back to Japan in 2008. I attended an international school in Tokyo from 6th grade to 12th grade. I am majoring in international relations and management. Since I am fluent in both English and Japanese, I am able to teach English with Japanese explanation. I can teach general speaking skills such as pronunciation, conversation tips, presentation tips, etc. I can also teach some writing such as essay formatting and useful phrases in essays. I took the SAT and Advanced Placement courses so I believe I can help with college applications and standardized tests for those of you who are planning to study abroad. I would describe myself as an extrovert who loves to meet new people. I hope I can provide an environment that we can both enjoy and understand English!
