人の役に立つことが大好きな私は、サンフランシスコで救急救命隊員として働いていたのですが、先生としてのキャリアも追求したいと思っていました。そこで私はケンブリッジ大学でCELTA認定を取得し、ロンドン大学で応用言語学のマスターを修了しました。また、CamTESOLのような国際的な英語の学会で講義や研究を行い、複数の言語学に関する出版物で数多くの仲間と働いています。

Hi! My name is Mark. I am from San Francisco, California, USA and I have been living in Japan for 5 years. In San Francisco I worked as an EMT because I love helping people, but I also had the desire to pursue a teaching career. I obtained CELTA certification from the University of Cambridge and an M.A. in Applied Linguistics from University College London. I have given lectures and presented research at international English conferences, such as CamTESOL, and am working with a number of colleagues on multiple publications.
The type of lesson we have together will depend on your goals and your level. Any level of English is welcome! I would enjoy helping you with your conversational ability, grammar, speaking reading or writing. I can also help with TOEIC preparation, business English or any other personal request. I have materials available. I would love to use my experience and knowledge to help you learn English in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere!
