I am a highly-motivated Psychology graduate, from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. Throughout my degree, many different areas of Psychology were examined, with my main interests lying in the educational and behavioural courses. This led to me undertake a TEFL teaching internship in Valencia, during the summer of 2016. I worked full time at a language school, teaching individual and group lessons to children and adults. My students were of a wide range of levels and I taught business level english to University students. I gained 220 hours of teaching experience and passed my TEFL qualification with distinction.
I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the job, especially seeing the improvements in student’s confidence and language skills. After completing the internship, I have decided to pursue a career in teaching, as it is something I am truly passionate about.
I am currently living in Kutchan, Hokkaido, with a valid working holiday visa. I also have an international driving licence. I will be moving to Naha, Okinawa, early May
