プロフィールを見てくださってありがとうございます。私の名前はアリシアです。2017年にUniversity of California （カリフォルニア大学）の英語専攻・日本語副専攻をトップ20%で卒業し、現在は日本人に英語を教えることを楽しんでいます。
日米ハーフで、子供の頃からアメリカと日本を行き来する生活をしていたため、日本の文化も理解でき、日常会話程度の日本語であれば話すことができます。生徒さんが分からない言葉があっても、辞書を引く時間や手間を省き、通訳できることもあると思います。
英語教師としての経験は長く、公立小中学校、さまざまな会社でのビジネス英会話など、幅広い年齢層へのレッスン経験があります。特に大人の方への指導経験が豊富で、レッスンも得意としています。生徒さんが自信を持って英語を話せるように、生徒さんのペースで進めていくことを心がけているため、「あたたかい」「フレンドリー」との声をいただいています。

Welcome to my profile page! Let me introduce myself.
My name is Alicia and I enjoy teaching English.
I graduated from the University of California as an English major with a minor in Japanese.
Throughout my childhood I traveled back and forth between the USA and Japan due to my Japanese-American bicultural upbringing, so I have a decent understanding of both cultures and can speak conversational Japanese. This skill often benefits my students because they can get immediate feedback or translation rather than waste time looking up a word or phrase in the dictionary.
I have experience teaching students of various ages and backgrounds. I have taught at numerous Japanese public schools (elementary and middle) as well as adult business classes at various companies.
My students often tell me that they like my warm and friendly teaching style because I prefer to teach at the student’s pace and encourage them to speak English with confidence.
Dates are flexible, I will adjust to your availability as much as possible.
