Hello. Greetings! Please allow me to tell you about myself and family.
I am Alanna. I am married to Senior Airmen, Patrick, who is currently assigned to Yokota Air Base with the logistics squadron. He specializes in aircraft lab chemicals and fueling. He’s pretty busy at work, but he always finds time to spend with our family. I graduated college and completed my Double major of criminal justice and sociology. We arrived in Yokota in May 2017. This is our first time living in Japan and we absolutely love it!
We have two children! Laila is 5 and loves to make new friends, sing, dance, cook, and learn. Her favorite things to learn about are words in books because she loves to read. She is only 5, but she has been on multiple airplanes and drove across the entire United States, making her a great traveler! Lochlan is 1 and loves anything her sister does. He follows her everyday learning and observing. This is the second country he has lived in as well as for Laila. I think that you would enjoy meeting them and I think they would like to meet with you. We also have 1 pet. A 3 year old Cat, who is very sweet and loves children and adults! Her name is Yuki because her fur is white as snow.
We miss our families in America very much, they cannot wait to come and visit, but we stay in touch and talk to them every day via telephone, Facebook video chats, email or some other modes of communication.
I am excited to meet with you either to teach you or to host you, should you desire to stay with us for a home-stay experience. I am confident that you will totally enjoy your experience in the home-stay program. If you have something that you would like to try and experience or something that you would like to do while on the home-stay, please feel free to ask me. I can try to see what I can do for you.
I am looking forward to seeing you soon,
Alanna
