Hello, my name is May. Coming from a family background that do not speak English at all, I understand how hard it is for you to learn everything from scratch. Hence, I fully understand the difficulty of acquiring a second language and am able to provide tips on how to better master English. I love languages and feel that it is important to learn different languages to better understand the various cultures in our society. Although I am from a Chinese background, I have studied in Singapore (English based education) for 12 years. I can tailor English lessons to your specific needs and have fair experience teaching kids and teenagers. I usually teach based on textbooks (students choose which areas of English that would like to work on). I can also teach standard conversation based on professional textbooks and tailor to the situation you require. I usually encourage students to write anything in English, reflections, feelings and opinions.
