Konichiwa, my warm greetings to you. Please call me by my middle name "Ajay", Its easier to remember. I come from the beautiful islands of Fiji which has a rich mix of various cultures, and religions. As a result, i have great respect for different cultures and am quite easy to talk to. Fiji is popular for tourism, so i am used to having conversation with foreigners from different countries. The official language is English.
As for the lessons, on the first meeting or trial lesson, I like to begin by introductions, (e.g. Good morning, Good evening, How are your, etc) this will allow me to judge your English ability. I have taken a Japanese course, so i can understand some basic Japanese. We can communicate during the first lesson and gain an understanding of what areas need attention and build from here onward. I basically look for grammar and sentence patterns and like begin by simple introduction, which i believe is in both our comfort zones, and then use this as a building block for the rest of the lessons that follow. In the first lesson i like to discuss with the student what he or she would like to learn and improve upon. My goal is the students satisfaction. I have also taught students in Bachelors courses at university level, so i have familiarized with dealing with students of various types.
