To whom it may concern – Cover Letter-, 10th June, 2017
This is to inform that I-Mrs. RAJAM - has been teaching since 1984 for the last 33 years in a reputed Junior College as the Head of Senior High School (SHS) and English Department in Pune India under the management of Christian Nuns of St Ursula Society. I have done my TRIPLE Master’s Degree course in Education, English as well as Economics from the reputed University of Pune. In addition, I also have done my teaching certification and qualification for teaching anywhere, and remains valid forever. They are,
Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) for teaching in English & Social Studies
Master of Education (M. Ed) for School & College Administration.
It gives me much pleasure to continue my career in your institute in this new position. Since last three decades I have, not only taught the students but also counselled them to excel in their career. I have also taken active participation in the curriculum development of English Language at Elementary, Junior High School and Senior High School Levels. Subsequently I have trained the teachers under the “SMART Movement” to suit their grades according to their qualification and ability to deliver. I am committed as an English Language of Arts (ELA) teacher who seriously attempted to instill an appreciation and understanding of English Literature and the English language in all students. Genuinely cared about each one of them and did my utmost to provide them the maximum knowledge with motivation in learning through suitable approaches to teaching and learning skills. I am particularly flexible and successful in dealing with students who have decided to be difficult or uncooperative. Second, among the faculty members I am adorable and approachable to them, at any time. My efficiency and hard-work made me as compassionate, that all members of the staff looked upon, at my presence when needed. I am equally principled, who wanted to make sure that everyone was treated with fairness and respect, avoiding negative comments at all costs. My contribution in general to the teachers and students are always constructive and uplifting.
This step of entering Japan to teach English, to the Japanese students enables me to become more international minded. In this respect, I can use the same methodology of right approaches to teaching, learning and considering the students with different levels. To my experience, in this Hi-Tech era the technology change is seen in cars, phones and style of living. But the approaches to teaching and learning remains the same since three decades of my teaching, across any country. The students are ignited with the same ideas of critical thinking, willing to inquire, daring to communicate and mushrooming with the teenage problems, which doesn’t depend on the national, continental or planet boundaries.
