Hello, Future Student!
I lived in Okinawa, Japan, from 2012 to 2014 as a U.S. Marine (アメリカ海兵隊). I was a U.S. Marine for five years, and finished as a Sergeant. While in Okinawa, I volunteered often as an instructor for orphans, nursery, kindergarten, junior high school, high school, and university students.
I have extensive experience teaching university students and adults, up to the age of 90! I was the founded of an intercultural and language exchange between the U.S. Marines and Meio University, I taught an English conversational class for over two years for residents of Nago, Okinawa, and continued my class for adults in Yonabaru, Okinawa. My classes, at times, had over forty students!
My work for improving international relations between the United States, Japan, Thailand, and South Korea was even recognized by President Barack Obama.
I returned to Okinawa in 2016, and moved to Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture, at the end of February, 2017!
I live here with my wife and daughter!
I am funny, energetic, and have a good grasp of Japanese.
Test me out!
