Being a student myself, I understand a student's perspective towards learning and exploring a new area. I am flexible with any kind of teaching method a student is comfortable with and happy to learn from. As for my lesson plans, I plan to start with basic conversations to get a brief idea on the approach that I need to take in order to meet the needs of the student.
