My name is Sabino and I come from Australia. I have got a bright personality and I'm definitely a people person. I love socialising and being around people, especially with kids. I can connect with them easily and build a bond between us very quickly. I also know how to keep children interested and motivated. I really enjoy being a teacher and you can say I have a natural talent to be an educator!
In regards to my teaching experience, I have got a Bachelor of Social Science/Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary) and I have taught geography & history at high school level. I have done lectures at different seminars at the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers (AIPP) as well.
Apart from teaching, I have worked as a photographer in Australia and I was running a very successful boutique studio in Sydney specialised in Family Portraits & Weddings just before I came to Japan. Families with young kids were a major part of my studio client base and I have worked extensively with children throughout those years. During that time, I learned how to keep them happy, motivated and working towards the same goal as getting great photographs of kids is not so much about camera skills but more about how you interact with them.
I have moved recently to Japan with my family to look after my wife’s elderly parents and we have plans to live in Nara for the next few years. We have got two children; a 13 year old girl that is studying at Doshisha International School, Kyoto and a 6 year old boy that is currently attending the Nara Gakuen Kindergarten.
