I am a native English speaker from England currently studying Japanese language as an exchange student at Chuo university in Hachioji, Tokyo. I have experience teaching both English and Japanese as a second language and am able to teach according to student preferences. I have experience teaching from textbooks, conversation practise and catering to students specific learning goals. I have intermediate level Japanese spoken and written and am therefore able to offer explanations of English grammar and with close comparison to Japanese grammar and vocabulary, giving me an advantage over teachers with no Japanese language ability. Although whole lessons will not be taught in Japanese I am able to communicate effectively in the language if necessary. I look forward to meeting you.
