I am a german currently living in Japan as an exchange student and found myself to have quite some free-time after school, and felt the urge to do something meaningful and earn some money.
My parents are american immigrants of german ancestory that came to germany just before I was born, so even though I am not a native speaker and grew up speaking german, I started learning english from very young age. Furthermore, until I came to Japan I visited a prestigious IB school in germany where I was taught several subjects in english.
In Japan I of course gathered some experience regarding english, as I found myself being constantly asked to explain and correct things, which I find a quite joy bringing task. During the english classes in school I also try to understand the concepts of teaching english, whereby my teachers support me, and I therefore often end up acting more as an assistant teacher, rather than a student.
