Practical information
My proficiency: When I was a child, I lived in Nepal where I went to an American school. As a result I have been fluent in English since I was eight years old. I have since received highest marks in English in both high school and college, and I am therefore confident that I can live up to your expectations as a teacher. I have an interdisciplinary Bachelor's Degree in English and Cultural Encounters.
Train stations: I live in Teradacho and will take my bicycle to any location I teach; so if the place you wish to meet at is within a 2.5 kilometer radius, I am available. If you wish to see me outside this area, I will gladly take a 25 minute train ride as long as you cover the traveling cost.
Trial lesson: This session will be used mainly to meet two goals: First of all for you to get to know me and the way I teach, and secondly for me to asses your needs to improve your English. I will explain in more detail if you contact me.
About me:
I am an energetic, always happy, Danish guy. In 2013 I studied at Kansai University as an exchange student and became so fond of Japan that I came back last September (2015) on a Working Holiday Visa. I love eating most Japanese foods, and enjoy drinking Japanese craft beer. When I'm in the mood I love to go hiking in the Japanese mountains, but since I have a place to stay in Osaka I mainly do one-day trips.
My experience as an English teacher consists of teaching English to a Japanese woman during my studying abroad in 2013, and teaching in an elementary school back in Denmark. My dream is to become an English teacher for high-school students, so I can assure you that I will do my best to see you reach your learning goals as these will help me improve my teaching. Even though I want to focus on high-school students in the future, I welcome people of all ages. My main teaching strategy is to focus on a mix between what you find hard and what you wish to achieve. I am highly flexible in my teaching, and will do my best to accommodate any wishes you may have concerning teaching style, location, and more.
I look forward to hearing from you!
