はじめまして。英語教育を専門とするAmy（エイミー）です。
英語講師として16年以上の経験があり、大手英会話スクールでの指導、企業向け英語研修、オンライン英会話など、幅広い英語教育に携わってきました。また、10年以上にわたり自身の英会話教室を運営し、4歳のお子様からシニアの方まで指導してきました。特に子どもの英語教育を専門としています。
【子ども向けレッスン】
小学生・中学生・高校生を対象とした60分マンツーマンレッスンを中心に行っています。10年以上の指導経験をもとに開発・改善してきた7段階のオリジナルカリキュラムと教材を使用します。
日本の子どもたちにとって身近で興味を持ちやすい内容を取り入れながら、日本語を母語とする生徒さんがつまずきやすいポイントも考慮して教材を作成しています。単に英会話を楽しむだけではなく、長期的に英語力を伸ばしていくことを目的としたレッスンです。
子ども向けレッスンは、基本的に毎週同じ曜日・時間に継続して受講できる方を募集しています。講師がご自宅へ伺う訪問型レッスンで、カフェなど公共の場所では行いません。毎回宿題があり、Google Driveを通して共有します。
【大人向けレッスン】
・ビジネス英語（中級以上）
・上級ディスカッション
・フリートーク（レベル不問）
上級ディスカッションでは、毎回異なるテーマや課題について深く話し合いながら、高度な語彙・文法・表現を学びます。例えば、「AIをどこまで規制すべきか」「歴史的な建物や場所をどのように保存すべきか」「理想的な街のルールを考える」といったテーマを扱います。英検準1級～1級程度の方にもおすすめです。
大人向けレッスンは、ご自宅・公共の場所のほか、オンラインでも受講できます。
【講師資格・専門性】
Trinity CertTESOL（Cambridge CELTA相当）およびTrinity DipTESOL（Cambridge DELTA相当）を取得しています。さらに、第二言語習得理論や現代の外国語教授法について専門的に学び、学士課程・修士課程相当の高等教育課程も修了しています。
レッスンで提供するのは、単に「ネイティブスピーカーと英語を話す時間」だけではありません。10年以上にわたる英会話教室運営の経験、保護者とのコミュニケーション、長期間の学習記録・進捗管理、カリキュラム・教材開発、そして第二言語習得と外国語教授法に関する専門知識を生かし、一人ひとりに合わせて継続的に英語力を伸ばしていきます。

Hello! My name is Amy, and I specialize in English language education.
I have over 16 years of English teaching experience, including teaching at major English conversation schools, providing corporate English training, and teaching online. I also ran my own English school for over 10 years, teaching students ranging from four-year-old children to seniors. My main specialization is teaching children.
I primarily offer 60-minute private lessons for elementary, junior high, and high school students. I use my own seven-level curriculum and original teaching materials, which I have developed and refined through more than 10 years of teaching.
My materials incorporate topics that are familiar and interesting to children in Japan while also addressing areas that Japanese students commonly find difficult when learning English. My goal is not simply to provide an opportunity to enjoy English conversation, but to systematically develop each student's English ability over the long term.
Children's lessons are primarily for students who can attend regularly at the same time each week. I visit the student's home for children's lessons; I do not conduct children's lessons in cafés or other public places. Homework is provided after every lesson and shared through Google Drive.
Lessons for Adults:

In Advanced Discussion lessons, we explore a different topic or task in depth while developing advanced vocabulary, grammar, and expressions. Example topics include how AI should be regulated, how historical buildings and places should be preserved, and designing rules for an ideal neighborhood. These lessons are also suitable for students around EIKEN Pre-1 to Grade 1 level.
Adult lessons can be held at the student's home, in a public place, or online.
Qualifications and Professional Expertise:
I hold the Trinity CertTESOL (comparable to Cambridge CELTA) and Trinity DipTESOL (comparable to Cambridge DELTA). I have also completed higher-education study at bachelor's and master's level, with a particular focus on second-language acquisition theory and modern language-teaching methodologies.
My lessons provide much more than simply time to speak English with a native speaker. I bring more than 10 years of experience running my own English school, communicating with parents, maintaining detailed long-term student records and tracking progress, developing curricula and original teaching materials, and applying professional knowledge of second-language acquisition and effective foreign-language teaching.
