こんにちは！Lauren（ローレン）と申します。アメリカ出身の英語ネイティブです。2023年に日本へ引っ越すまで、カリフォルニアで長く暮らしていました。
日本に来る前は、アメリカで数名の生徒に英語を教えていました。埼玉に引っ越してからは、約1年半英会話スクールで講師をしており、日常会話を中心に、リーディング、ライティング、発音なども指導していました。英検対策をお手伝いした経験もあります。
私のレッスンは、カジュアルでリラックスした雰囲気を大切にしています。私自身も外国語を学んだ経験があるので、新しい言語を学ぶときの難しさや大変さも理解しています。生徒さん一人ひとりに合った方法で学んでいただきたいと思っているので、必要であれば、分かりやすく説明するために日本語も少し使いながらレッスンを進めることができます。
教科書に載っている英語だけではなく、実際に日常でよく使われている自然な英語を身につけてもらうことを特に大切にしています。
また、中学生・高校生・大学生の宿題やレポート、その他の課題などのお手伝いをした経験もあります。
すでに英語をある程度勉強したことがあり、さらに英語力を伸ばしたい方に特におすすめのレッスンです。生徒さんが英語を上達させていく姿を見ることが、私にとって大きな喜びです！

Hello! My name is Lauren. I am a native English speaker from America. I spent most of my life in California before moving to Japan in 2023.
Before coming to Japan, I tutored several students in America. After moving to Saitama, I taught at an Eikaiwa for about a year and a half, where I taught conversational English and helped my students with reading, writing, and pronunciation. I also have some experience helping students prepare for the Eiken.
My teaching style is very casual and relaxed. I have experience learning foreign languages myself, so I understand some of the struggles that come with learning a new language. I want to help you learn in the way that works best for you, so I am also happy to use a little Japanese when necessary to help explain something more clearly.
I especially enjoy helping students learn how English is actually commonly spoken, rather than only teaching textbook English.
I also have experience helping students with homework, writing papers, and other assignments for junior high school, high school, and university.
I think students who already have some experience with English will benefit the most from my lessons. Seeing my students improve and become even more confident in English brings me great joy!
I am willing to negotiate the lesson price, especially if travel is involved.
