親愛なる 生徒様、
本日は私のプロフィールを読んでいただきありがとうございました。英語の上達をしたい方は是非とも手伝わせてください。
Dear students,
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I'm happy to hear you would like to improve your English, and would be glad to help!
My name is Chris, and I am originally from San Diego, California in the USA, but now living in Tokyo, in Nakano, right by the beautiful Tetsugakudo Park (the "Garden of Philosophy").
What I love most about the area is its blend of history and nature: the wooded paths of Tetsugakudo Park, the Myoshoji River that runs alongside it, and the historic Arai Yakushi temple are all a short walk from home. I also love seeking out Nakano's many great coffee shops, and there are far too many good ones to name.
My profession is as a conservationist and climate change scientist, and I am lucky to travel around Japan surveying the wonderful nature here. So far, Shiretoko, Yakushima and Towada-Hachimantai are my favorites.
I have also lived and worked in Asia, Africa, and Europe. I am very excited to talk about world cultures and traveling.
Join me for coffee and conversation, where we will discuss current events, travel and culture, and/or business English. Medical students interested in practicing for their residency interviews in the US are also encouraged to contact me.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Thanks,
Chris
