私はアメリカのカリフォルニア州サンタモニカ出身で、日本に住み始めてから30年以上、英語教育に携わってきました。現在は和歌山県に住んでおりますが、以前は神奈川県に住んでいたこともあります。
これまでに、大手英会話スクールでの指導やALTとしての勤務経験があります。また、日本の多くの大手企業での企業研修や、医師・看護師・薬剤師向けの医療英語コースも担当してきました。指導経験のある生徒層は、未就学児から退職された方々までと幅広く、あらゆる年代の方に対応可能です。
生徒の皆さんが目標を達成するお手伝いをすることに大きなやりがいを感じており、その上達を目の当たりにすることが何よりの喜びです。これまでに、TOEIC、TOEFL、英検、そしてA&Pライセンス（航空整備士免許）など、多くの生徒を目標スコアの取得や合格へと導いてきました。
私のレッスンスタイルは、リラックスした雰囲気の中で、楽しみながら質問し、学んでいただくことを大切にしています。フリートークで英語力を維持したいというご要望から、特定の目標達成に向けた集中学習まで、ご希望に合わせて柔軟に対応いたします。
プライベートでは、スキューバダイビング、キャンプ、釣り、動物、そしてアウトドア全般が大好きです。また、旅行や食べ歩き、あらゆるジャンルの音楽も楽しんでいます。まだまだお伝えしたいことがたくさんありますので、ぜひお気軽にご質問ください。

I am originally from Santa Monica, California in the United States and have been living and teaching in Japan for over 30 years.
I presently live in Wakayama but I have also lived in Kanagawa.
I have taught at top tier language schools and worked as an ALT.
I have conducted corporate language courses at many major corporations in Japan as well as medical courses for doctors, nurses and pharmacists.
My students have ranged in age from pre-school to retirees.
I really enjoy helping people reach their goals and love seeing their progress.
My students have been successful in reaching their desired scores and goals in TOEIC, TOEFL, EIKEN and A and P Licensing.
I love teaching in a low stress atmosphere where people can relax, ask questions, enjoy themselves and learn at the same time.
We can do anything that you like in class from free conversation to just maintain your English proficiency to anything you need to attain a goal.
I love scuba, camping, fishing, animals and being outdoors in general. I also really love travelling, food and all kinds of music. There's so much more to tell so please don't hesitate to ask me.
