I have been in Japan for almost 20 years now, and have enjoyed learning the culture and history. I have just come to Kyoto from Chiba, and I am already seeing so many differences. It is so beautiful here and the people are very different (and much more friendly) than the Kanto area.
I have much experience teaching English to all ages, but my primary job while I was in Chiba was elementary school. I taught at elementary school for 14 years (also taught at some Jr. high schools). My secondary (part-time) job (from 2001-2014) was teaching at 1 specific juku which had students from 8 years old to 18 years old (elementary 3rd grade to high school).
I also taught private lessons to families, when I had free time.
I am very outgoing and enjoy meeting new friends and seeing new sites. I hope to be able to teach you English and I can get a flavor of Kyoto at the same time!
I teach private/conversation lessons for 50 minutes starting at 3000 yen per lesson.
Any drinks purchased at a cafe, the student will pay for.
(If I must use a train, the transportation costs will be paid by the student also)
