こんにちは、ゼキです！ トルコのイスタンブールで生まれて、今まで色々な国で学んだり働いたりしてきました。イスタンブールの大学でメディアとジャーナリズムを勉強し、ロンドンで修士課程を学び、その後フランス・リヨンで15年以上働きました。
言語のスペシャリストやジャーナリストとして20年以上の経験があり、今は日本で NHK World の仕事をしています。トルコ語、フランス語、英語をネイティブまたはプロのレベルで話せて、日本語も中級レベルです。妻は日本人で、双子の子どももいるので、日本は私にとってとても大切な場所になっています。
新しい言語を学ぶ気持ちがよくわかるので、楽しみながら上達できるようにサポートします。レッスンは一人ひとりの目的に合わせます。会話の練習、仕事や勉強の準備、自信をつけたい方など、どんな目的でも大歓迎です。

Hi, I’m Zeki! I was born in Istanbul, Turkey, and I’ve been lucky enough to live, study, and work in different countries. I studied Media and Journalism at university in Istanbul, did my master’s studies in London, and then spent more than 15 years working in Lyon, France.
I’ve been working with languages for over 20 years, as a journalist and as a language specialist and now I’m working for NHK World in Japan. I speak Turkish, French, and English at a professional/native level, and I also know intermediate Japanese. Since I’m married to a Japanese person and raising twin kids here, Japan has become a big part of my life too!
Because of my background, I really understand how it feels to learn a new language, and I know the best ways to make progress while enjoying the process. My lessons are always adapted to your needs whether you want to improve conversation, prepare for work or study, or simply build confidence step by step.
And here’s a bonus: in addition to English, I can also teach Turkish, if you’re interested in learning something a little different!
