日本に来てから、日本の方々と話すことや友達になることをとても楽しんでいます。多くの日本人はとても謙虚で礼儀正しく、それが理由で国際的な学生と英語で話すことをためらってしまうことがあると感じました。私は、この言語の壁を取り除き、みんながもっと気軽に交流できる環境を作りたいと思っています。また、異なる国の人とコミュニケーションをとる際に、自信を持って快適に話せるようサポートしたいです。
学術的な観点から見ると、日本の研究者によって書かれた論文には、非常に詳細で高度な内容のものが多くあります。しかし、それらの多くが英語で発表されていないために、国際的な評価を受けにくいという現状もあります。私はこのギャップを埋める手助けをしたいと考えています。

English: Hello! I’m Sakib from Bangladesh, currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Tokyo (Todai).
Since coming to Japan, I’ve really enjoyed talking to Japanese people and making new friends. I’ve noticed that many Japanese people are very humble and polite, which sometimes makes them hesitant to communicate in English with international students. I hope to help break this language barrier and create a space where we can all connect more easily. I also want to help others feel more confident and comfortable when communicating with people from different countries.
From an academic perspective, I’ve found that many of the most detailed and sophisticated journal articles are written by Japanese researchers. However, because many of these works are not available in English, they often don’t receive the international recognition they deserve. I want to help bridge this gap as well.
