I am a model, actor, voice-actor, and (of course) English teacher located in Tokyo, Japan.
I have taught every age and demographic over the past 6 years. I started as an ESL teacher's assistant at an elementary school in the States. Then became a full blown teacher in Vietnam
and Japan.
My favorite age to teach are 9 year olds because they are super げんき & intelligent, but still young enough to be eager students. High school kids tend to worry too much about being cool that it's boring to teach.
But that's in person. As for online Skype lessons, I prefer adults who just want to keep their English up to par. That way we can have very natural and interesting conversations. Usually the subject matter can be more engrossing with mature adults. (Having a pretty woman as a student never hurts either :P )
My ideal online lessons would include reading an article together and discussing current events, reviewing business reports together, or just talking about each other's days.
These types of lessons are easiest when it comes to dealing with internet lag and the sort. If this casual lesson sounds good to you, then don't hesitate to message me. I'm also open to just revising your documents if you are too busy to Skype/Google Hangout.
I will be traveling around Japan for the next month or so, but haven't set any exact dates. I live in Azabujuban but will be making my way throughout Japan so don't hesitate to contact me for lessons even if you're in おおさか or さっぽろ。And of course online is always welcome as well.
